Agreed it happens world wide, but incidents in China have been very publicised and its because people are so afraid these days of being accused of causing the incident, being made responsible for the victim, being sued by the victims family or being blackmailed into giving out huge sums of money, that they seem so heartless.

As I have stated before I am a behaviourist (not a racist) the incidents I highlighted, behaviourally, just disgusts me that in this age in our evolution we as humans are stooping so low.

Coincidentally - or not - there was an article in a Shanghai newspaper I read during the week about an elderly man who collapsed at a metro station. The only person to help was a european. Everyone esle just kept on walking.

Perhaps the Chinese authorities should just shoot a few people at random for failing to help? Seems to be how they run their legal system...
