I think I'm glad too Alan! :!:

I've just done an edit of the video taking out only any long waits at junctions and waiting for speed freaks who can't start their bikes :) ....and so on and that leaves 70 minutes of video.

I suppose I could go out on Friday when it stops raining and do the Bakewell bit but I'm not really that keen.

No music on it yet but always open to sensible suggestions.

Only a basic menu with untitled chapter markers every 5 minutes to make navigation a bit quicker and that's it if anyone who was on the ride wants a copy...I know you want one Alan...and I'll do the AMRR 2011 one for you too.

I'm only planning on putting it on DVD due to the cost of Blu-ray discs.

Initially B5055 from the camp site to Longnor then on to the A53 in direction of Leek.

Right turn to Tittesworth Reservoir and Gun Hill eventually through Wincle, then I'm not sure exactly which road we took but joined the A537 east of the Cat and Fiddle, turned west to get the same and eventually left travelling east back towards Buxton which we circumnavigated anticlockwise to the A6 towards Buxton and the battery in the camera expired in the area of Ashford in the Water.

ZZ Grandad will know exactly which minor roads we used.

You're right though, it was a cracking route!

Dunno what your GTS 300's like going up steep hills or what sort of weight it'll be hauling.

My advice is to look at it going downhill (approach via Sparrowpit) - I've posted a short video of the descent, in a separate thread..
