I've not had that problem with any helmet. Over the last 6 years I've used Caberg flip front helmets. First the Trip, and now the Konda. I ride all year round and I've never had a problem inspite of lengthy rain soaked rides. Could be you are riding in 'the wrong sort of rain'!

Caberg do seem to have potentially the best system. Mine didn't leak until I added a pinlock but it was quite old so I don't know if the two things were related.

I got a Caberg Trip, ‘Old Shape’ and have never had water run down the top of the visor or anywhere come to that, even at speed

I run a short screen on my tmax, it did have a tall on but I do not like the pressure you get on your back from the vortex caused by the screen. Yes it keeps wind of your chest but just seems to transfer it to your back.

My point is the wind pushes the rain off my helmet backwards, I wonder if there is a vortex from your screen moving water in a strange way to seep through the edges of your visor.

Just my thoughts – no science involved

When i got my first Caberg (Trip) i was surpirised how good it was for a £100 lid, after wearing Arai all the time...
I find the Caberg Trip/Konda/Duke all sit very high up the head...
Reasonable interior, and are great for the money...
and still use my Konda quite often.
The Lazer Panema is a bit like the Shoei Flip, fits lower down the side of the head, and can be a bit more awkward putting on without knocking ya glasses off... more a one side then the other action needed, rather than a plonk on...

But as for recomendation - Yep - But, It's all about the fit! - and i'll 'prolly go back to one next time, a new lid for the winter...

I have never had issue with water running down the inside of the visor when closed, just that teh gully in teh visor seal is quite deep, and when you flip the front up, braking the join of the seal at the side, a bit of water tends to run down one side...
