Ah yes, I forgot about that, it's a pet hate of mine and I would prefer if there was a law which made them illegal.
The whole indicator lens should be orange and there should be a minimum separation distance between them and the front and rear lights.

Maybe I'm boring but the current trend in vehicle light design makes for very poor indicators indeed and this has safety implications.
The standard indicators on the PCX for example are simply shite.
The sticky-out ones on the USA model are far better.

Maybe in the gloom that is prevalent in Scotland, but I find indicators very easy to see on everything except VW Golfs which have the indicator inside the tail lights. When they are braking during daylight, you can hardly see the indicators on those.

The silver bulbs flash as well as the orange ones though.

Youd hate my old Austin A30, white front indicators and red on the rears.... all 100% legal.

It's more of a problem in bright sunshine which reflects off the chrome surrounds.

Maybe we could go back to waving our arms out the windows?

At the front, those daft orange bulbs fade and then the indicator looks white! - Shite... At the rear you get Orange bulbs with a Red lense - that is still meant to shine Orange - Shite...

Indicator Lenses are Orange,
Sausage is with Red Rockin' Horse (Sauce)
Bacon and/or Egg is with Brown...

As for Style? - i think its more akin to Fashion.... And 'Style' and 'Burgman' go together like Bacon and Red Sauce
