I had one of those last year as a hire bike for a week or so.
I live in a village and when I cleared the houses I cracked the throttle open, took a few fast bends then looked at the electronic speedo – I thought to myself ‘those dosey tw@ts had set up the speedo in KPH’ because it was doing 90ish, looked again to find it was really in MPH.
Those naked bandits are so smooth and handle like a dream. With the silly shaped headlight it deflects such a lot of the head wind it’s untrue. I am used to fast naked bikes but the 1250 bandit gives you no sense of speed. However it was a lot of fun.
I bet they are a point’s magnet though!
