Just to even things up a little, the staff that ran the Peterborough shop are really friendly and very helpful. It is not their fault that some of their stuff is over priced; after all we are not compelled to buy it. Their service items, oil filters etc. are in the ball park figure and they seem to keep in a good stock.

I found the Nottingham Hein gericke shop to be quite good.
The staff seemed reasonably knowledgeable and didn't take the piss when they saw I was on a scooter.
Well not to my face anyway!
I think the shops worked on a sort of franchise basis. Bit like how McDonalds works.
It's a shame for all those people working there.

Not quite, only a few things for the moment, helmets @ 10%, gloves @ full price unless they're HG ones.

I might have a ride down tomorrow and see what sort of deals they are doing. Doubt it'll be a clearout if discounts are only 10 - 20%.
What's the timescale they are looking at to get shut of all the stock?

typically these admin sales are half price, the admin. want to get money fast and shut down due to staff costs.
Unsold stock may go to auction.
