Maybe spoke too soon chaps not sure if it was me (very possibly) but I thought I felt the front twitch on a slow left hander. It wasnt the only thing that was twitching

On the front I have a Sava MC28 Diamond S and on the back a new but scrubbed in Pirelli Diablo. Im now thinking of ditching the Sava and sticking a matching Pirelli on the front or perhaps a Michelin citygrip ?

So what do you guys do in the wet lean over the front in the wet ?

Well i've had two Sava diamond on my GTS at the rear and i've never lost grip in any weather. The only
tyre to avoid at alls costs (that I know of and experienced) is Avon Viper shytes, had one on the front and boy did that make the front end feel like it wasn't even touching the road!

If it happened once are you sure there wasn't crap on the road, a drain, stones etc?

I don't change my riding position in the wet, just speed. After all, the patch of tire that hits the road in the best of times is the size of a postage stamp. So I trust my Michelins, but I take it easy.

Thanks yes its a particularly poor piece of road with road repairs and a couple of small grids so yes could easily be down to road conditions. It could also be down to me still working on my confidence as its been a few years since being back on two wheels.This bike has made me feel more confident than anything Ive ridden before though.

Well to be honest Earl I live in Warmingham which is right between Sandbach & Middlewich. Haslington is getting bigger all the time actually my brother lives there.

I know Warmingham I used to go to the grange years ago on the pull lol. I moved to Warrington 16 years ago but looking at moving back to Crewe, Haslington will be part of Crewe soon if it keeps growing lol

Spooky that Earl because I live where the Grange used to be its a small development of homes now.

Didnt notice anything on the ride to work this morning although the roads were`nt as wet. I will replace the front tyre at some point when there is a bit more money in the kitty got to pay for a tune up first.
