Have a look at the new piaggio X10 (350ie)......with ABS. Smaller engine than the Xevo 400 it's replaced, but supposedly as good as, if not better.
I've just part exchanged my Xevo for one, and will post photos and a review when I've had a chance to get some miles in (back problems at the mo).
Impressed so far....very smooth, but only managed 30miles. :(

My Xevo 400 is up for sale.

Love it but just not using it these days. 2010 model 10000 miles or so.

lucky you, neither did my 55 plate GTS125, but the new GTS are well known for piss poor paint and finish quality......and at £4300 otr it takes the piss........ I would never buy Piaggio again, check out my older posts for links to the pictures on the GTS owners club forum......

On other hand, my extremely nice Peugeot can be had for a reasonable sum. http://www.maxi-muppets.co.uk/forum/vie ... 15#p156115

No rust that I can see, everything works, and it is running sweetly at 32k miles. Reliability? Well, I have put 10k on it in each of my 3 years of ownership since new, so that speaks for itself.

I had a speedfight and it was a pile of shite and did seize...

However the Pug that Stephen has is a different kettle of fish - with a Piaggio engine....

Indeed so. Pugs are very different now from what they were 10yrs ago. The Satelis, Geopolis and Citystar stand comparison with anything.
