I think many of the Maxis have just got too expensive.... Tmax, BMW, Burgman 400 ABS, Integra. Im getting shot of mine as I dont really need a big scoot now, plus it has the worlds worst clutch

Id love to have had an X10 but fancy going back to the Vespa brand, hence the new GTS.

The negative comments are really the result of manufacturers, not us. I mean you want 10k for a scooter with plastics not fit for a margarine tub? Bound to get some negativity that!

i would love another but moneys tight at the moment

the scoots i have do the jobs i have them for so cant really justify buying a new one

if i can shift the zip i may consider a 125 maxi for the winter

I think it's just seasonal. It'll get better eventually.

1) True, most new Maxis are too expensive, even SYM/Kymco Maxi prices have gone up to near Japanese/European models.

2) Again true. How can you charge £10,000+ for something that is clearly made of poor plastic? Do BMW include
super glue in the tool kit?!

Its the same with all bike manufacturers.... say you bought a car and it started rusting after one winter, that car would never sell once it got out. Say BMW made their interiors out of those plastics, buyers would go mental but us riders..... we just take it and continue paying for stuff that doesnt hold up to British weather.

What are you Brits bitching about? You've got 10 times the choices that we have in the States and, because the number of scoot riders is many multiples of ours, you have a wider choice of reasonably priced used machines. When my scooter club gets together, it's a Burger convention. I've ridden with exactly two Piaggio/Vespas this year, the only non-Japanese scooter marque in all of my clubs - except for the guy with the Can Am who has more money than brains. What are you Brits bitching about?

We're not all bitching.
I even saw a Kymco Downtown this morning which made me smile.
