Does it say its a 750??? I can't find any data on engine size, it just says its a triple!

A commenter on MCN said 'Great, now put it in a Tmax with 16" wheels' !!!!

Yeah...but it'd blow the BMWs into the weeds!!!! And £10.5K is only the same price as the C650GT with highline ripoff extras.

To answer my own question, there is no exact capacity quoted, but it is described explicitly as being 3 cylinders of an R1 engine, so it does seem likely to be a 750, but I don't think we'll be seeing it in a TMax anytime soon....

I've just read that its actually 850cc and produces 130bhp....sounds rather wild!

Sounds like it'll be a revving thrashmonster, definitely not suited to use in a maxi.

i used to own a 850 yamaha aTRX850 but that was a twin cyl nice bike tho

I've ridden both the XS750 and the XS850 triples, excellent bikes both.
Pity there's nothing like them or the outstanding Suzuki GS850 or Kawasaki GT750 available today.
