Just gone and done it............bought a used X9 250cc 2001 drove it home, loved it. Got 80 mph on motorway according to speedo!which is plenty fast enough for me, Very stable didnt miss a beat , well pleased. Expect to read my questions on the forum...let the fun begin

I agree. A 400 or 500 isn't like a motorbike , it won't pull your arms out,but still faster than a 250. Go for it.

hi mottza, your picture looks just like my scoot, it has a piaggio top box with backrest. I have taken off the box and am left with a flat plate. to take this off means loosing the rear grab handles , do you know if there is a curved bit to put in place of the top box plate ?
