Can't believe that Piaggio thought that tungsten bulb would be a good idea.

The Leonardo had a strange HS1 fitting.

Glad that the X9 has twin lights (unlike the later Evo's).

Thanks very much DougL, just wish i'd read that yesterday before going to Halfords ;) So i got the front off, and yes it's a "S2 12V 35/35W" "E4 2PA", so try and return the H4, and get one of these. Fucking Piaggio <mutter mutter>

So halogen better than normal ones? Only £2 difference, so worth a punt.

I think it's just the first time is bad, because you dont know whats going on, and how far you should push and pull things. But once you get the hang of it, it's all happy-joy-joy and bright lights everywhere. Changing the bulb is easier being shown too.

I would be tempted to go for higher than 35w if you possibly can, as that wont even light up the road in front of you, as you found out in the past, Its gonna be hard finding one the same fitting as the one above though, ever thought of getting someone to cut the wires and use a different fitting for a better bulb?
