He's either an alien or god. Which one will you put your money on?

I believe and have done since I was 10 or 12yrs old. Most of it can be explained away but a very small percentage is completely unexplainable. If you sift through all the crap there is some very convincing evidence.

Got any good resources macp? I'm interested in this stuff so if you can give some recommendations it would be very appreciated. There is sooo much crap out there that sifting through stuff would take forever

let me have a think buddy and get back to you as I want to direct you to the good stuff. I have read all sorts on ufology and surrounding subject matter like Area 51 and the in the UK Boscombe Down & Machrihanish where allegedly black project aircraft fly in and out of. I just find it fascinating and I am not ashamed to say it.

They're not so much black as very very dark blue.

A lot of the secret stuff seen in the UK over the past few years have now been voluntarily outed by BAe as their UAV prototypes.

As for aliens? Nah.

I would start with a guy named Timothy Good who is a serious non BS investigator with a number of solid contacts within the US & UK intelligence community. He has released a number of books which are all written in a factual manner without making assumptions or going off into flights of fancy. One of his early books Alien Liason is an excellent read including a little piece concerning NORAD (see below). Have a read up on Bob Lazar who is a physicist and claims to have worked @ Area 51 with a team who were back engineering alien technology. There is a very good possibility he is a hoaxster but it makes fascinating reading as there is some truth in his statements.

Also read up on Nick Pope who worked for the MOD for 21yrs. He is best known for a job that he did from 1991 to 1994, where his duties included investigating reports of UFO sightings, to see if they had any defence significance. One of his stories tells of a famous UFO sighting in Scotland (see below) where a picture was taken of the craft with a Harrier Jump Jet flying next to it. The pic was blown up to poster size which was put up in the office in which he worked with the words "I believe" above it.

lastly have a read of one of the most famous UFO encounters known as Rendlesham Forest. It took place in December 1980 over a series of at least two nights. Most witnesses were United States Air Force personnel based at the twin bases of RAF Bentwaters and RAF Woodbridge, in Suffolk. Witnesses included the Deputy Base Commander, Lt Col Charles Halt.

One of many sobering facts uncovered by the author: the NORAD Unknown Track Reporting System recorded more than 7,000 objects over North America and the Greenland-Iceland Gap during the 19-year period 1971-1990. The US Air Force confirms these records do exist, but claims them to be exempt from FOIA disclosure on the grounds of "National Security." A mere five of the 7,000 were eventually released to Citizens Against UFO Secrecy, all heavily censored. The rest remain concealed and unavailable to the public.

Former Ministry of Defence investigator Nick Pope described the snap, taken over the village of Calvine, as “compelling” evidence of alien contact.
He had it mounted on his office wall before it was removed by bosses — who later denied it had ever existed.
Mr Pope — who ran the MoD’s UFO project from 1991 to 1994 — was adamant that tests confirmed the drmatic image, from 1990, was NOT counterfeit.
He said: “It was easily the most compelling UFO photo I’ve ever seen.
“It went to the technical specialists at the Defence Intelligence Staff and elsewhere. The results of the analysis were this was a real thing — not a faked photo.
“It was a diamond shaped metallic craft about 25m in diameter and there seemed to be military jets in the background. It wasn’t clear whether they were escorting it or even chasing it.
“I had a copy on my office wall when I was at the UFO project.”
He told how the picture — showing a craft similar to the UFO in 1950s sci-fi film The Day the Earth Stood Still — was removed by a senior colleague.
Mr Pope said: “He took it down and locked it in a drawer as he didn’t think we should be displaying something like that.”
When MoD chiefs declassified UFO files, Mr Pope said he tried to retrieve the image, but was told: “We have no record of where this went.”
He went on: “I suspect certain people thought this was some secret prototype aircraft. Maybe somebody put it through the shredder and thought they were doing us a favour.”
Mr Pope was speaking on BBC Radio Scotland’s Tales of the Unexplained, to be broadast on Thursday. He described his department as “the nearest thing” to a real-life X-Files.
And he added his three years in the job had shattered his scepticism.

I don't believe UFO's are extra terrestrial.
I'd like to believe life exists, but as the astronomers on Stargazing Live last January said, why travel across the galaxy then not actually introduce yourself? It's not like it's a five minute trip they can repeat and keep popping back for a bit more data sampling.
The speed of light is the same across the universe so all life forms are working with the same data at the same age, as you need light to determine what chemical elements make up any stars and planets. It isn't worth a long voyage to a planet that is incompatible with your life form is it?
