Not defending any local traditions or anything here, but what actually makes the people involved cowards for doing this it doesn't make them any braver than you or I, unlike bull fighting where the bull is dead before it even enters the ring, and the matador is regarded as a legend? At least here it has a fighting chance. All we have just witnessed is numerous videos of scaled down Pamplona's 'Running of the bulls'. But then again some would argue that the 'Festival La Tomatina' is a waste of good food lol.

They're cowards because they're needlessly tormenting the bull in order to show how brave they are, except that:
1) They cap its horns
2) They tie it to a rope and have others hold it back so it's not really free.
3) They run away
It's pathetic to see supposedly civilised humans tormenting animals for fun. Cnuts the lot of them, the more that are seriously injured the better.

Yeah, maybe we could organise a ride out or chuck a few cats off Blackpool tower if we can't get to Spain?

I like your thinking there, alot cheaper than going to Spain so we could buy more cats with the money we save.
Cheers there's a few on there that could use up 2 weeks of my holidays next year.

No did I buggery 12 years as a qualkified slaughterman, I even had my killing license up to last year which allowed me to kill anything with four legs from a calf to a horse, so why would I change my mind, and as for the throwing the cats off blackpool tower why waste money on the cats, there's still donkeys in blackpool.
