Hi Alan

Anyone get out on Sunday? best day of the week weatherwise, had a nice ride around. Stopped at Settle for a brew just 4 bikers there, normally there is no room to park. Stopped at Dick Turpins on the A59 also but, he wasn't there, nor any of his "disciples" who usually ride Harley's, must be too cold for them. Very busy through Lancaster town centre, i was surprised i didn't come across any road closed due to floods, must have been lucky. Happy Christmas everyone. :D

The rain hasn't been all that severe over nearer the Morecambe bay area. Flooding is fairly temporary and soon subsides.

The weather was fine for the ride to Southport, my son in law and i were there at 1.40pm. We met Ian 0205, and had a chat. A nice day really not very many people out but, a lot of them were interested in our Scooters. At one point we had a line of people waiting to sit on my Silverwing and Paul's Burgman 650. You really do meet some nice people about and we really enjoyed our day. I did take pics but only shows our bikes at the carousel, nothing special but they have the date on them for future ref. :)

I'm not asking for company just saying that's were i will be, unless it is thick with snow, or torrential rain before i set off. it would be a novelty if anyone on a scooter turned up though :)
Someone else did me nice to have met you and your son in law, will prob meet again.
