Road runner, you're only down the road from me so I see loads of meets coming up. Good luck with the move, don't forget to take the scooter!
rintintin, don't tempt me! I do like the look of the X10, but the pull of the Burger is still just too great at the moment... Glad you like yours though!

Cheers Chris,
Jam factory only ten minute walk for me, already visited it and had cream tea there as one of my daughters moved to Tiptree about 6 months ago. Looking forward to riding around the area and visiting the various places of interest. Have quite a lot of work to do on the bungalow but I am use to it, having only recently just finished off my current abode.
Will have a little more time on my hands now as I only work part time, in lead up to early retirement.
Hope to meet up with you sometime in the future.

Cheers Data,
Scooter will be taken this weekend and will be left at my daughters who already has my motorcycle under wraps on her drive. It's been quite hectic these last few days but we are now basically packed and ready for the removal people. Cant wait, all excited now and counting the days!
Like yourself, I am sure there will be a few 'local' ride outs in 2013 and I look forward to meeting you and others in the near future.

Glad your enjoying the Burger Data. That's as good an ad as Suzuki could expect, a bike that does everything needed well. BTW how tall are you? I tried a Burger 400 a while back and didn't give it a fair chance because I found the seat height a bit low for me at 6'3", I'm sure I could have got used to it though because otherwise it was hard to fault. I could be considering one in the future as I get more creaky.

i am considering a maxi scoot (see my "introduce yourself" post of yesterday), in particular a burger but it's interesting to hear that you found the seat too low for you. I am 6ft 4 so might be even more tight for room. I vaguely remember sitting on some scooters at the bike show a year or two back and catching my knees on the bars with most of them. I guess I need to try a few out for size! Are there any really tall people out there with scooters and if so which do you find the roomiest?

Thanks pikey. Will have a look at the Tmax also. Are running costs likely to be more than a burger 400 ie. fuel consumption and servicing?
