His/Her riding may be in question but I'd like to be doing it especially in that weather..I'm pissed off with the rain and just keep thinking about riding about on a lovely hot day....in a t-shirt

finding a nice cafe on a busy road/or street and be able to pull up outside with no problems parking sit down outside with a drink and watch the world go by .Then once i've got a bit warm just hop on me scoot and shoot off to cool down...Arghhhhh...Bliss

Agree the video is "normal" speed but I always think those types of on-board cameras seem to have a strange widescreen type lens that gives an impression of greater speed than reality.
Having said all that I wouldn't filter through the slow/solid traffic anywhere near the speed he does, but other than that a fairly routine city commute for many. Not sure you'd get away unscathed in London as the cage drivers don't have the understanding and (generally) more accepting approach to PTWs as our European cousins (often because the drivers have been scooter riders in their younger days).

Thats a point - the Paris rider was very unfazed by various bits of cobblestones! Scared me just sitting watching, let alone riding!! There again, they are probably OK in the dry, but I'd guess they'd be like ice in the rain!
btw - it does rain quite often in Paris, and can get far colder in winter than here - no nice stretches of water to shelter them from cold winds from central Europe and Russia!
