Banned? That is the whole spirit of maxi scoots! Don't forget as far as MCN twats are concerned even the TMax is an underpowered moped (with 'small wheels').mightbesane wrote:I hope that I don't get banned from the forum for saying this but my little Chinese 150 was a hoot and a half to flick around, light as air and with Dr. Pulleys installed off the line in a flash.

I had my tuned Italjet Dragster, My Nexus 300 and now the Mana, and the one I love the most is the Dragster, even tuned it only made 22.5bhp lol

When I'm asked how fast my bikes will go my standard answer is "as fast as my old brain will work". Any faster than that I would likely kill myself!

Re: Can 47bhp machines still be fun to ride?
excuse me butting in but are we talking about 47cc or 47 BHP ?? 47 BHP is more than enough to kill yourself.
My 1.4 LT car only produces 90 BHP and my 2.0 Lt Fiat Diesel only produces 90 BHP.

Re: Can 47bhp machines still be fun to ride?
I'd like to know what MCN definiton of 'fun' is?
150hp+?
Overtaking on blind bends?
Speed limit - whats that?
Riding within your own abilities - again whats that?
Standing around in one piece leathers on a hot summers day?
Only riding for a few days within a few months a year then taking the car the rest of the year?
I find getting off my PTW with a smile is fun enough. Blasting along the main road on a C90
at 50mph - that was good fun. Going around twisties on a nice summers day with a 600cc sports
bike strugglingto keep up - thats fun. Having to pay £16 to fill my scoot up for 220miles of riding -
thats fun.
I must find 'underpowered' things to much fun... I haven't ridden a 47hp+ PTW yet so I must be off my head.

Re: Can 47bhp machines still be fun to ride?
47hp is plenty enough to have fun
my Atlantic makes 39hp? that seems plenty enough for some fun
my Lario makes about 75hp, and the back steps out coming out of corners, is that supposed to be fun? I find it unnerving
