Thanks for the welcome everyone :D

I love my little honda, but finding a few limitations with it now...

My local roads are a mix of nsl country roads and faster dual carriageways and I find that I'm constantly running at full throttle in order to keep up with traffic flow. The initial plan after passing my test was to upgrade to the sh300, same bike with more power, which would be ideal for the kind of travel I'm currently doing.
However I'm also looking forward to a spot of touring, and doing more camping/climbing trips to Scotland which wants better luggage capacity- so I'm thinking more about something like a burgman 400. This is my dilemma now, which bike??!

Lots of SH300 fans on here, great little bike, nimble and goes like stink.

Burgman 400 has the luggage space, weather protection, comfort and cruising ability..........but I would say that

Burgman 400 is a popular choice here.

Welcomes...
How often do you need the storage? cos Burger is gonna be loads bigger... all the time...
If ya happy with ya little honda, would the 300 plus some throw overs / soft luggage for the 'aways' suit your needs better than hauling a burger or some-such about all the time?
If not and If ya going New... The new Piag X10 gets rave reviews also... Test Ride Time - if ya can find willing dealers...

Ah I love taking my T-Max camping! I carry everything for two with my underseat compartment, top box and use the back seat to hold tent, sleeping bags and blow up double mattress. I stick the hubby on his own bike tho!

Well I did it. Although I was planning to buy new, Ive been browsing and spotted a just under 2 year old burgman 400 with only 1000 miles on it, at a dealer not too far from me. Went and had a look and it's now mine :-)
