It is , actually! Or should it be correcting American to English ??
You may not realize it but MM is an international site with people from many nations.
If they want to say ass I think they should be able to, without being corrected.
If you're going to correct, then put a little smilie so it's taken in a light hearted way.
I'm sure you would have taken offence if someone had pulled you up about your "English".
Your first post, using i when it should have been I ??
Being of Irish parentage, I am tempted to use the phrase 'feckin eejit'. Please correct that as you will!

Apologies to maxine.

I'm glad Maxine 500 took it in the spirit it was meant, and (maybe raised a smile about the donkey reference). However, if Liam who is the Benefactor, whatever that means, i presume it is your Website. In that case i will not cause any more offence, and not come on this website again.

Ok Sylar,, I apologise for annoying you.

Don't get upset by anything I say. I'm normally quiet and well behaved! I just like to argue over nothing.
Just tell me to stop being an Ass or is it arse!

I saw that Meldrew made a post, and as i respect him(as a fellow Grump) i was to take one final look before closing down for good. I once told another Muppet on here i am Quick to take offence, and iam. Probably comes from working alone most of my working life, and why i don't play well with others. I never mean to cause offence, but my heckles rise if what i say is taken the wrong way and iam not given a chance to explain. I don't know why LIAM felt he had to say what he did. I accept that maybe all this has gone further than it should. I think we should leave it at that.

When you say "...heckles rise...", did you mean "hackles"? Just kidding!
