Yes, it does look better in the flesh than the photos (especially in black), though the front panel and headlights aren't pretty. For some reason it has more presence than the mk3, and people (especially bikers) who didn't really get previous TMaxs seem to be quite impressed by the mk4 - not quite sure why, but it does look butcher.
