Welcome Asparagus!

the X10 is a very nice scooter indeed ,and Frankies1949,is an exceptional buy,

i really dont know where you are coming from,i dont think you really want a maxi bike,
you put so many obstacles in the way,,from what i can see of your post,s the scooter you want aint been made yet.
Now now, Keith.
Encorage, encourage!
Don't slag people off til they've posted a dozen times. Then its ok to tell them they may be talking bollox.

And if I was spending thousands on any scooter that could depreciate at a rate in excess of most new cars,, I'd be very careful indeed.
I spent 3 months checking Tmax prices before I got my first. Then I only spent £1500. I never considered anything else but I'm sure it's easy to get overwhelmed with the choice from all manufacturers.

Anyway,, how much is this exceptional buy then?

That would be a good buy for someone!

I think I met a muppet from Sheffield with an x10. Maybe on one of Gerard C's runs??
It went really well and looked great!

Thanks for the welcome VOZZA and Liam! :)

ridinhigh - I don't want to make the impression that no scooter is good enough for me, on the contrary, I'm new to the maxi world, and I'm overwhelmed by the choice that's available. There are some fantastic options out there. I know I'll have to make some compromises, the only reason I listed all my preferences and concerns is that people who are smarter and more experienced than I am can make their recommendations on what I should consider
