I had an Xevo before I bought the X10. If I couldn't have afforded the X10, I would have been quite happy to keep the Xevo (great fun to ride). I would advise to change the standard screen for a givi though (much better protection). Enjoy it!

Of course you could choose the SYM maxsym 400i which for me outshines them all, but then i would say that. You sit taller on it, and the adjustable screen and seat make it good for tall riders. Coming from big bikes this was the nearest I could find to bike handling, its loves its bends and twisties.

I was going to mention the unreliable Sym side stand, but that seems a bit churlish, so I won't

In reality, there's not much to choose between any of the big suppliers in terms of quality these days. Obviously steer clear of anything Chinese, but I would suggest checking out local support and then go and sit on a few. The right bike will probably sell itself.

Spike One is quite correct, we are all different so its about finding a bike you feel comfortable with. For a while the maxsym was not on my list, but having tried other options (not easy since dealers don't seem to understand the meaning of test ride), the Max suited my size and riding style very well. You also need to decided what you are going to use your bike for and where, all of these are factors that come into play.
