I think he must have got confused with the BMW lol or he was chancing his arm . Due to warranty still in place the dealer did my 6k service and upon inspection the rollers and sliders etc looked like new ,but were replaced as per schedule ( service was a sweetener for purchase ) the invoice for parts was 115 quid so would have been £160, +vat . The big service as described before was max £ 450. . Which I will do myself once out of warranty . The tyre issue is the biggest problem so I am now looking at fitting maybe another companies 15" front hoop which in the long run reduce costs and give a much bigger choice of tyre

I have read complaints of high service costs on here and elsewhere. I mean aren't you supposed to change the final drive chain and sprockets every 12k miles, with a cost of £220? And presumably the drive belt will need changing at that time anyway. And thats before you get into the routine stuff or valve clearances. I was surprised by the parts bill mentioned. OK Yamaha are hideously expensive, but at a 12k service for the TMax I paid £60+ just for the filters!!!!

Gosh that screen looks tall....
You'd have thought that for £9k Aprilia would have given you a proper mph speedo, wouldn't you????

*** Re listed due to previous buyer saying not able to insure??? ***
Mmmmm...............looks a bit fishy, although it's only up for £4800 as a buy it now, or offer, so might be genuine

£9k Mr Grumpy that's not correct ,Yes I agree about the speedo but that's what happens when they use a modular item and fit it to 20 machines . Chain and sprockets say in the service change at 12k mine are all ok and do not need changing . I can get a set for £100 with a choice of sprocket combinations .

OK. For 'only' £8300 I'd still expect a MPH speedo!

Yes and a fuel gauge that actually works correctly to. I was lucky enough to buy an ex demo last year with a few extras already fitted and the 6k service thrown in to seal the deal with a 2k saving .
