Just been to check - and lo...there is no bulb anyway!! Taken out already

Good advice taking the bulb out, I was left stranded due to a flat battery on my new Majesty, I asked the RAC rescue bloke to take the bulb out and no bother since. I'd also like to know how the 'wing compares to the burgman, I considered a 'wing but got a great deal on the Maj, I can't help thinking I dropped a bollock!

One thing I have noticed is the front suspension is very firm, much harsher than the Burger 400. Is this a characteristic or a sign of something needing attention??

Also, the temp gauge, should that be displaying 3 dark blocks??

Don't think there's a problem with the temperature gauge, mine runs like that all the time unless I'm stationary in traffic, then it might creep up to 4 blocks.
The front end probably is firmer than the Burger - the Wing is quite a bit heavier.

Well, first week of my commute and looks like my £15 of fuel is going to run out at 112 miles whereas the Burger400 would last to 150.

Without going in to it in great detail yet, that would be approx 40mpg


And I now find myself avoiding the smallest of potholes, so violent is the feedback - would the fork oil need checking on a 39k model??

Plus side, loving the extra power on tap, lower legs seem to have more shelter from the wind.

Anybody swapped air filter over to a K&N, and if so what can I expect back...if its reduced mpg, I'll stick with OE

seems to be a strange bike the wing fuel consumption varies wildly .... my younger brother whos very anal at this keeping records malarkey since buying his wing new at 2009 has never fallen below 55.4 mpg ..

I found on my short test ride that the suspension was tieing itself in knots when the roads were badly surfaced, so it might be that there are all like that!
