I have thought about the Jetmax several times - I actually have a (tiny) WK dealer in the town where I work for one thing.
The spec is quite reasonable 22bhp which is 2 more than the Yam Xmax 250 for instance, and some bits of the construction are quite high spec - eg the entire exhaust is stainless steel. Some odd omissions though eg a fuel gauge but no trip mileage meter, an oddity it shares with the 650 bikes. I haven't found a really decent test, but I get the impression it goes OK without being stupendous. The thing I've always worried about is how it would stand up to winter commuting year on year, but I've found nothing on the web to say how well it lasts or not. There is a blog from a Singapore owner which can be found buy a web search , though Singapore conditions are not the same as the UK!. He's had to replace a few things on his, though he had a very early one, but he seems broadly happy with his.

Re: WK JETMAX 250
It looks like you have the 400 x-evo,the 2010 model has a dry weight of 198kg.The SYM gts 250 is 173kg dry and the sym city com weighs 165kg dry, this is the bike I bought when I got rid of my Burgman.I had the same problem with its weight,I found it was to heavy to move around as I have nerve damage in my back and leg.now I have the sym It is a dream to move around and it has enough power to get me around. It will do 80 to 85mph with the big windshield and about alittle bit more with the short screne on,the best part about it is the mpg it will do about 85mpg without trying and if i just plod around and stay under 50mph i have had over 100mpg.I think you will find that pushing a bike around will be a little easyer if its 25kg lighter but the only way to shed a lot of weight is to go for a 125 but after having a 400 that is to much of a drop in power,I miss the extra power on motorways and find it ok to cruise at 70mph but a heavy bike with a bit more power feels a whole lot safer.I suppose its all a bit of a compromise more power =more weight and less mpg.Less power =lightness and more mpg but less braking power on some bikes and less comfortable seats. The desision is yours. But just remember there is no substitute for quality.

I don't like reviews that are written by the manufacturer, but there doesn't seem to be any proper reviews at all!
Has anyone actually bought a caffenero? And no coffee jokes please!
That review says made in Italy. Aren't Benelli connected to keeway and made in China?
And if I got one, that screen would definitely have to go!!
That'd be my favouritegn2 wrote:Light weight and goes a bit?
That'll be a Gilera Runner 200.
Or the Daelim which you mentioned earlier.

Just up the A38,, Roy Jervis at Ripley are Sym dealers. They're opposite Lidl on Butterley hillridinhigh wrote:no sym dealers around here
I had work done there, on a runner a few years ago and they put a tyre on the tmax.
They seem to have a good reputation but I've not been in for a year or so
