Yes, it is very hilly round these 'ere parts.
I'm still very much considering what you have said about the Citycom 300. I am looking and reading and searching etc etc about a scoot that is as comfy as my AN400 was with lots of the features we know - storage, weather shrugging, smoothness etc - but lighter amd even more frugal.
I'm glad to hear you can find the Citycom comfy at your height and that you did the London trip on it. As much as I loved the legs forward and lower ride of the Burg 400, I'm hoping that the sit-up style of the step-through Citycom/SH style will do me well for longer haul rides too.

What is the red-line on your Citycom?
It's 8000 on the GTS300 which has the same engine...

Your dash is identical to the one on my 171cc Joyride with a 9,000rpm redline, which is a totally different engine design. I wonder if they just stuck that dash on the Citycom and didn't bother updating the dial?!
Also max power of that 263cc engine is at 7000rpm according to the Citycom 300 tech. manual.

It's been very windy here over the past few days whilst I've been doing some 'experiments'.
There's a stretch of the A30 dual carriageway between Pool and Camborne that has a slight dip and I rode in both directions with the OEM Screen, the (extra large) Fabbri screen and no screen at all.
For the first time ever the rev limiter cut in at 9k showing 95mph with the Standard Screen and the wind behind. It was quite disconcerting how it would stutter the power.
With the Fabbri Screen fitted I could hear the engine, the scoot felt slower, displayed 85mph, but there was some rear buffeting that was uncomfortable.
With no screen the bike felt (psychologically) faster, more 'flick-able', oddly quieter but I had to 'hang on' as it showed 85mph.
Going into the wind was a different story.
Oem Screen: 80mph
Fabbri Screen: 75mph!!!
No Screen: 80mph but hanging on.
I do know my speedo is ambitious, when it says I'm doing 90 - 'My Tracks' (Google App) says I'm doing 82mph.
