School holidays, too expensive.
There's no school holidays in between those dates - well not that I am aware of and my work is geared around the academic year. We went to Lake Garda this year 5-12th July via France/Switzerland/Italy and tonight we are having a group meeting to finalise the planning/booking for another trip to Lake Garda - slightly earlier next year, via France/Belgium/Germany/Austria/Italy.

We always meet up with the ladies halfway through the trip (stops the fuckers moaning  ), so we do 2/3 days riding, 3 days (2 nights) somewhere a bit tasty with the ladies and then 2/3 days going back a different route.

Cracking little machine for a 500 cumfy, nippy enough, light as a feather and can be chucked about like a 125 and 80MPG Givi top box arms do not have grab rails thou so i think you have to go for the 500f rails to get the pillion grab handles..and the price is good too.

Would be interested but I think Pikey is right, either ferry to le havre or la Rochelle would be better for me still some great riding.
