Re: Impressive customer service
Sadly the bike wont be ready today, it turned out to be a problem with the ignition switch which is a sealed unit. SYM have them in stock so a new one its on its way along with a new glove box lock and petrol cap so it will be one key fits all. Should be ready on Tuesday since CD scooter are closed on a Monday, but since I am working I guess I will have to collect it on Wednesday. Could somebody explain what a bus is?

Re: Impressive customer service
I did not ask but remember its not being done by a SYM dealer, in fact when I dropped it off they thought SYM would only be paying for parts and not labour. Sym put them right on that matter and said they would be picking up the bill for the lot. Its not a big issue and more high winds are forecast here on the South coast over the next few days.poldark wrote:So you're not able to have a loan bike?

Re: Impressive customer service
Well I got the bike back all fixed and it was nice to have it done locally however very unimpressed with CD Scooters. Bikes are stored out in the rain, on arrival the guy who I assume is the manager/owner berated me about what a heap of shit it was. On riding home I realized they had not bothered to reset any of the clocks (having had the power off), tightened up the mirrors which swung loose on the way home and had only pushed my bar muffs back on not securing them so when I pulled my hand out they came off. I am certainly glad I never got an X10 from them and I shall not be using them again. I raised the issue of the X10 master cylinder, and was told that was crap it did not need to be replaced and that people were making up stories. I told him that one of our members had posted a letter from Piggio but he did not believe me!
