Re: new integra 750 test
I aint that concerned about storage, pillions or how many blnkets fit under the seat, I want a sporty ride like a tmax, but I really like the dct box, if Honda made a tmax with an integra engine it would be perfect but alas al keep waiting, by time the right bike comes along al be too old to give a shite coz al have a hover board or a maglev mobility scooter!

Ok its not the most practical machine, I think its a mix of bike/scoot. Not much luggage capacity, chain drive, not the best weather protection. But I like it, sometimes " not to practical" can be most enjoyable.
I want one!!!!!

Its a thinly disguised motorcycle.
If an Integra is a scooter then so is a BMW F800GT

Well it has leg shields for dry feet, but the supplied chain doesn't seem to last that long - one of the things I really haven't missed on my scooter is chain maintenance. My GTS300 belt has done 10,500km now and still looks like new and the width is well within the service limits still.gn2 wrote:Its a thinly disguised motorcycle.

No space for putting the Waitrose shopping in and a dirty chain to ruin ones hands , one for the Hets I think.

Dirty chains wont ruin your hands spaceprobe, chain maintenance isnt what it used to be, a quick squirt every couple of hundred miles is more than enough,

Not convinced I have had enough years, cleaning, lubricating and adjusting chains. Does not look good when I examine a patient with oil stains on my hands.horobags wrote:Dirty chains wont ruin your hands spaceprobe, chain maintenance isnt what it used to be, a quick squirt every couple of hundred miles is more than enough,

Re: new integra 750 test
I've heard reports of the original chains only lasting 3,000 miles.horobags wrote:Dirty chains wont ruin your hands spaceprobe, chain maintenance isnt what it used to be, a quick squirt every couple of hundred miles is more than enough,
Should've used a belt like the Tmax or a proper CVT.
If I'm paying real money and ending up with a pseudobike I may as well just buy a decent CB500.

Taking all these points you've mentioned in to account I'd go for another Manahorobags wrote:Ok its not the most practical machine, I think its a mix of bike/scoot.
