Dealer rectified the oil leak, turned out to be the oil pressure switch, which the dealer say,s only last 10 to 12 thousand mile. There was a customer in the shop who overhead and he said he had three switches fitted in 30th miles so would seem right.Should high mileage X10 owners carry a spare switch?

Useful to know. Other scooters never have that issue as none of them have pressure switches

Did they manage to get the part without delay?

Maybe instead of an oil pressure switch you could use a plain bolt.
Thatll fix it
