I see the rider has been found guilty of dangerous driving - sentencing next week

Whats this ''red mist'' he's out probably riding with a friend on a nice day in a nice part of the country, the highway authority and police could not do much more to make the Cat and Fiddle safe. He gets ''the view'' and off he goes showing off.
Thankfully that attitude is not in the minds of the majority of car drivers, if they were to push themselves to the limit in what is these days are some very powerful cars.
It's mainly a sports bike thing, that's carried out by some very poor riders, some of them overweight, that the bike set up is compromised.
I'm proud to hold the record as the slowest rider over the Cat and Fiddle, it is a nice scenic road.

Glad the rider is being prosecuted...he deserves it. Hopefully he will have learned from it. Just plain bad riding with disregard for everyones safety. We all make mistakes but that was no mistake in my book. He ignored all the warnings on the road and elsewhere. It doesn't matter why he did it, he did it red mist or not! Part of being a driver/rider is being able to control yourself and show restraint and common sense when needed.

LAST time i went over the cat and fiddle road it had average speeds camera,s and im pretty sure its 50mph all the way

I'd love to go through all that, seriously looks like great fun... but imagine how different it would be if the ratio of people to bikes and cars were the same as the UK? It'd be fucking gridlock for years and you'd get no where.

The Cat&Fiddle is 50mph and traffic calmed all the way, that's the speed most people are happy driving at. it was a nice 'flowing' road but the growth in motorcyclcing 'sport' has put pay to that.

Ran out of talent, just like common sense. A first class total TW+T doesn't deserve to have a license, people forget a license is a privilege not a right
