its surprising how the cost of living is so relaxed up north compared to down south, spent 30+ years up north and if it was not for ar lass being a londoner ( and mother in law getting on) i would still be there.... come to think of it i wish i never sold a house up there a few years ago, should have just rented it out.. but u cant change the past.. but you can alter the future
