I wouldn't be surprised if it was the same wan**r that offered £4k for my one. If it's the same as mine, you'll get a couple of more offers in about a months time. It was good to tell them, 'Look, I wanted £4500, you offered £4,000 here's the link to the dealer that gave me £4600. He has it up for £5,300 if you are still interested"

Easiest to trade it in TBH, no test rides, no worries - and you get a nice new scooter.
In theory it does cost you more but if you get a slightly smaller one each time you'll not lose too much!

This anyway - is my plan :D

No need to be rude about someone making you a generous offer.

Human nature I'm afraid, everyone wants something for next to nothing.
You get the impression some people think they are doing you a favour offering you buttons for your pride and joy.
Selling privately can be a very frustrating process.

Thanks for your generous offer, but regrettably I am not in a position to sell because I'm too busy using it for transport.
I hope you are not too disappointed, there's plenty others on the used market, I reckon you will be able to get one of them instead.

Straight swap for a 2008 Xevo 400? Only 33k miles on the clock, only ridden in the sun. And rain. And snow. Only chucked it down one hill. Every panel scratched or sun damaged, never garaged always ridden wot as much as possible. I even cleaned it a few times in 4 years.

PM me if you're interested :P ;)

I'd be happy to let you have my 2003 Honda SH125 for a straight swap, wouldn't even ask for any cash to balance the trade!

Only done 29k miles, returns 100 mpg and has DR Pulley sliders, so you can't go wrong.

Better act fast as I may not feel this generous for too much longer. :D
