Thanks for all the welcomes.
Got my Mod 1 and 2 tests coming up, when I have got these out of the way I will see how the funds go towards getting a bigger scooter.
Thanks again.
Steve

Well done Steve. I am 55 and passed my Module 2 test on Wednesday. Took it on my Kymco Downtown 125i so that is all I can ride. I am happy with that. Glad to think no more CBT or L Plates. Gave me a real sense of achievement. If you need any more info about Mod 2 then get in touch. I live in Ashbourne Derbyshire

Thanks for the offer. My head is crammed full of Mod 2 info that I have got off the internet and from my instructor, but I will certainly give you a shout should I need to.
Thanks again.

Steve

Hi Steve, I'm in Donny too, Armthorpe to be precise. If you see a fat bloke on a bronzy coloured Vespa GTS 300 that'll probably be me. Welcome to the very best forum on the tinterweb.

Good Darts!

Would love to have a go at the MOD 1 and MOD 2 - on the understanding they don't take my licence away if i fail
Did my test early 90's - Off Road CBT, then the On Road persuit / observed ride...
So now its Theory, CBT, Mod1 and Mod2 - Jesus!

I should have done my test years ago. Back then you could have a 250cc on a provisional licence.
Got absolutely soaked doing Mod 2 training today, so we called the training session off!
Good old British summer time!!!

Another update...
Managed to fail Mod 2 yesterday for doing 55mph on a dual carriageway when apparently I should have got up to 70. Was only a short stretch to the next roundabout, but I was told in the de-brief that I should have 'gone for it', as I would be a hazard, holding up traffic behind me.
Ah well, onwards and upwards. Re-test already booked.
Steve.
