Thanks for the welcome folks and advice. I will see if I can get the exhaust taken off and get a bracket welded to it.

Can't help with the centre stand thing, but a good choice of scoot. I used to have the 300 version, and there is nothing better for carving through city traffic. Much better in this respect than my Burgman. The SH is so much narrower.
