gore-tex gloves are whats needed in this weather for my hands, with some silk under gloves... Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Good winter gear is essential, up here in NE Scotland we have the benefit of being able to wear it all year round.....
I use the "lobster claw" style of gloves and never have cold hands.
Getting yourself some good warm kit should be a priority.

New 'thicker' gloves arrived and I went for my second run on Wednesday. I had toasty hands all the way!

Good luck with your warm gear. I'm a bit "soft" in my hands, meaning I get cold really easy. I don't remember how many configs I've tried: muffs and not so thick gloves, thick gloves only and the sort and even at 5° I'd get too cold after half hour in the A3. Until I found the headed Keiss gloves, all great and I could below 0. However one major issue, even though they were advertised as waterproof they do leak in really damp conditions. Hence ended up buying the best next thing when it's raining, Some Richa, great until 5° but especially will never leak, they're goretex. In essence I mostly wear the Richa unless it's too cold
