Re: Which 125 for 2 Years
Not ridden the Forza 125 but, by all accounts it's the best one out there, although the Xmax isn't far behind. Tend to agree with new on a 125, unless you know the previous owner that is, most get thrashed by a teenager for a couple of years and scrimped on servicing

If your buying new and don't want flat board I agree the forza 125 appears good (not tried one yet) but I'd go Suzuki burgman 125 as 0% over 4 years I recall

OK can sort of understand that cos most are Chinese. What about the SATELIS 125?Jaz wrote:Wouldn't pick any of those. I would either go for an SH125 or the S-wing.
And in the unlikely event that you are tempted by a small Peugeot, I would resist at all costs.

The Satelis is a totally different from the smaller Peugeot scooters. It shares its engine with the Citystar but is more of a maxi and can be had with ABS.stevew wrote:OK can sort of understand that cos most are Chinese. I had 3 mk1 Satelis and took each one past 20k miles with little trouble.

Re: Which 125 for 2 Years
I really like my Nmax 125, its brill around town and only £2700 otr with a 2 year warranty.
I havent tried the other bikes, but coming from a few 750cc I like the handling and small size.
Overtook a bus the other day at 60mph (indicated) but I would not want to go near motorways.
I did not want to spend a lot of money in case I did not like the 125 scoot scene, so I really only looked at the Nmax vs PCX (second hand). But having owned one now for 6 months I have gotten the bug.
Big price difference between the top end 125 & the Nmax, go used or get an Nmax.

i like the 125 innover in town its light and easy to park, not a scooter i hear you cry so i will settle for my sh so easy to get on and off ,plus i can carry the terrier on it due to the flat floor

I would not go for the 125burgman I think it would be underpowered with all that plastic on it, plus the weight of that great big seat

Re: Which 125 for 2 Years
Thanks all, it does seem that the Forza is my best option. I hope Honda release an updated version of the 300 in the next couple of years.
