Being a bit of a TMax fanboy (see my avatar) I would suggest a TMax... however for what you want it sounds more like a Burgman is in order or an Xmax with a topbox.

I had test drive on a TMax (in Yellow!) and it was an absolute dream to ride. I am tempted. Veeery tempted
