Just a taster imagine this on a Helix at 45 mph may do the Applecross section as that's part of NC 500 .I've done it on Silverwing in 2010 so if other Helix boys want to include it .

Slight change of plan now 2 nights at Lochcarron 3 nights Ullapool can camp get room at both locations .from Locharran can do Applecross and loop back to Lochcarron .Next day move to Ullapool. Reason being not sure about mine and Whittys stamina for the slog up there and back so may trailer to the 2 locations.No good being done in once there want to enjoy it once up there .Jaz could lead a scenic route from Locharran to Ullapool via coast road .

Lochcarron to Applecross turns to Applecross 12 min snow gate at 16 min gets better at 20 min

Another possible Tim Dawes who did our Le Jog trip .Was going up on a BMW but going to drag his Helix out get it going .That's 5 Helix if it works out woohoo

It's 500 miles for me to Lochcarron so be playing this all the way get me in the mood .

Did a lot of the "500" a few years ago (before it was named) on the C90 and managed to fall off at the top of Applecross pass. Still got home ok and would love to see it all again. Some of the best places and things I have ever experienced

Open to all ,was going to make it just helix old 250's and 125 but if bigger ones want to join and go faster can just go off in a faster group .

We were up top of Applecross pass and you could see the mist rolling up the hill ,5 mins later could hardly see 50 ft

Cool. Don't want to rush about but reckon the Scoot would be more comfortable than the C90.
Do you think you could précis the dates location and details into one post so it's clear for us numptys ?
