What revs was it doing at that speed, I think that bluecore engine technology is spot on....imagine 28bhp in a gts for example !

I think 8.5k on the rec if I remember rightly. I was only at that speed for a short bit

I've no complaints when I get up to high speed either. Can't recall the revs, but 8.5k sounds right. I was more interested in the instant mpg read-out, which dropped to below 70mpg. Quite impressive, I'd say.

Well riding home today on my nc750x dct I was doing just over 3000 rpm at 70 mph

You can always add heavier Dr Pulleys to get the cruising revs down while maintaining acceleration away from the lights. I did that to both my SYMs, much nicer to cruise on now.

I have to say these mpg figures are making me quite envious. AND 80mph cruising..
IF/when I trade in the TMax it might be for one of these. 8-)
