I think the tmax is lower so getting a leg through over will be easier. The back on the adv has rails you may hit if youre doing a leg over but its tall too. The front has a deeper notched area to get your leg in

What's the difference Steve between the 'step-through' height of the Xadv to the tmax?
I would say the ADV is higher,i put my left foot on the floorboard and swing my leg over the saddle,was a bit dubious at first as i am a fat git,was worried about the sidestand taking my wieght but its been ok,in fact i have noticed all the 6 foot plus riders get on their GS’s Africa Twins and other adventure bikes using this method.
