Data, PeterC may be right. There's no mention in the owner's handbook and the key's plastic does not seem big enough to house any electronics.

Stephen, riders in a storm, you may well be right about not having an immobiliser. I'm shocked!
Strange. But best assume it doesn't have one.
Probably not ugly enough for the 'Ugly Bunch'!
