It's mostly down to the use your going to put them to. If it's just days out in reasonable weather then I think handguards would probably be good enough, having said that I've never used them. But if it's for everyday use for work etc, then I think muffs are definetly the way to go if you can get used to them. This is what I've done over many years of riding to work every day what ever the weather. I am asumming that you would have heated grips. One of the main advantages of properly fitted muffs is they keep your hands dry, which, if your riding any distance is a big advantage. Also when using muffs I always use summer gloves, my logic being winter gloves are insulated to keep the cold out which means they also keep the heat out so you don't get the most out of the heated grips. Another advantage of summer gloves is they aren't as big and clumsy in the muffs. They do make some really good muffs for scooters, well they look good I haven't actually used them.
Waldorf I've tried the lobster gloves before and found them very effective but more than a liitle odd at first.

Just stick 'em on - I've got them on my sh350.

They are also half the price of Yamaha knuckle guards, and worth the money. Easy to fit yourself too

Knuckleguards are good,had them on my XDV,i also had a set of muffs over the knuckleguards which proved great,had the tucano Urbano muffs on my Tmax,as Grumpy says,muffs could be trocky with the amount of buttons on the handles nowadays,not sure what the SH 350 is like for buttons/switches……if you get heated grips,I’ve had the Oxford tour ones,with 5 settings.

Mike….you could be right about the knucklguards on your Forza,i have the Givi Airflow on my Forza 750,definitely no room for knuckleguards/muffs,but i do have the expensive intergrated Honda heated grips,….

Steve, the ones I've bought are not the Givi ones which, I think, makes it even more likely they'll foul the screen. I'll try to fit them soon.
I have Givi muffs and may use them again when I'm completely familiar with all the switchws and buttons. It's not helped by the fact the horn button is above the indicator swirch on the NIU but under that switch on the Forza!

Hi everyone

All this talk of hand guards has got me thinking.

Me new Forza 350 coming next month and will have heated grips fitted, but I’ve been thinking about the guards.

Can anyone recommend ones they know fit and are good.

Argyll I see you mention Honda ones but just been on website for Forza and can’t find any.

Yes, Givi are not cheap although the ones mentioned by Waldorf certainly have a decent discount.

They look good Mike,looks as if they fit to the fairing ,obviously not with the aftermarket screen on…..

Steve, it occured to me that as the guards are on the fairing, not the bars, I could cut the inner corners off if they foul the screen.

Did you get the Airflow screen? Could the Givi knuckleguards be attached to the screen somehow,when i had a laminar lip on my Burgman,i used little plastic nuts and bolts to secure it….but of course you’ll not not know without lashing out the money for the Givi ones,some experimenting and thinking needed,the Givi ones do look nice….
