Frustration got the better of me and I just couldn't be bothered with the hassle so just put the scoot to the back of the garage for the rest of last year. It sat there until a few days ago when I decided just to take it to Honda to fix - my first garage repair in 15 years. It cost me £260 but I'm still glad that I did it as I think that my days of stripping bike are over. Normal maintenance is enough for me now.
