You really do have a bargain, and I agree about the weather. My new ADV 350 has been sitting in my garage now for two weeks, and I am chomping at the bit to ride it, but I won't until the temperature rises to at least 10c. I won't enjoy riding it in cold weather - it was quite warm when I ordered it over 3 months since!
Yep, Bridge Motorcycles in Exeter offer lifetime warranty as long as you stick with the service plan! - I rode it last week, it's just salty, mucky water on the road that plasters the bike.
Is anyone else experiencing some corrosion on the forks and when the bike is on the paddock stand and I can turn front wheel a slight creak (only 500 miles)
Do you mean you get a creak when you turn the handlebars left or right? Or you actually get creaking from the front wheel itself?
Firstly, it's not uncommon to get a creaking when turning handlebars as often cables & pipes move against each other & sometimes the frame or plastics. This is cured by spraying an inert silicon lubricant onto the offending area. It won't bother you again.
If the front wheel itself is causing the creak then it might be a dry...ish bearing. I've certainly come across that on brand new bikes. I've also found foreign objects living in the wheel from the factory! It moves around making all sorts of noises.
Corrosion! Get to your dealer for an inspection. Let them deal with it.
Probably not ugly enough for the 'Ugly Bunch'!
