That's what I thought. Which is why I never turn my back on mine without a couple of locks on it. I did a little research recently and found out anything keyless can't be hotwired. Which is fine till a thief comes along who doesn't know this. And half wrecks it trying to hotwire it. Before either dumping it or setting fire to it.scootabout wrote: Mon Aug 25, 2025 9:43 amKeyless doesn't stop the scum. I've had two Forza 350's stolen in 18 months. The last one from Frinton, of all places!Andym wrote: Mon Jun 30, 2025 11:10 pm Honda seem to bury the wires deeper and don't sell emulators on Temo for £7.
The "roadman" scum don't have scanner level skills, so simply putting a keyless receiver deeper in the loom does seem to offer a bit extra protection.
Dumped means recoverable and maybe after dumping a couple of Honda's as hard work they'll stick to stealing Yamaha's?
