The "roadman" scum don't have scanner level skills, so simply putting a keyless receiver deeper in the loom does seem to offer a bit extra protection.

Dumped means recoverable and maybe after dumping a couple of Honda's as hard work they'll stick to stealing Yamaha's?

Keyless doesn't stop the scum. I've had two Forza 350's stolen in 18 months. The last one from Frinton, of all places!
That's what I thought. Which is why I never turn my back on mine without a couple of locks on it. I did a little research recently and found out anything keyless can't be hotwired. Which is fine till a thief comes along who doesn't know this. And half wrecks it trying to hotwire it. Before either dumping it or setting fire to it.

I have heard scooters are top of the list for thieves as they are light to push away (the smaller ones anyway) and being automatic easy to ride.

This is the second Forza I've had stolen in 18 months. Both were clearly lifted into a van, for them to sort the keyless issue out later. I'm sure this is happening a lot and they are touring round looking for victims. When my SH300 was stolen in London, it was recovered with bits for smash and grab under the seat...

My wife has said "no more Forzas", so not sure what/if I'll get next. I already have an old SH300, so I'll use that for now.
