The ADV350 is faster and has higher top speed than the burger. Much nimbler too.

2025 onwards have the self cancelling indicators the early ones don't at least mine doesn't.
the ADV in my opinion is a brilliant little scooter.
I came down from a 750 forza and to me its the best thing I've done.
I'm sure you will love it.
plenty of accessories for these scooters.

The more I ride the ADV, the more I love it! Its USP is that it can handle bad roads much better than normal mid sized scoots due to its longer travel suspension and high quality suspension components. Huge amounts of space under the seat, ride firm but controlled. A little more power would be nice, coming from a Tmax!

Although it's early days yet, I'm very pleased to have changed from Forza to ADV. Been said many times on here, the suspension, although firm does handle our road surfaces better. I have just fitted the Puig screen which is 3" taller than the tall touring screen from Honda, which I foolishly bought with the new bike. It might suit someone shorter in the body than I am but not me! Just wish the Council vandals would stop chucking tons of (often unnecessary) salt about.

I have had a first look at an ADV. Quite a bit different in feel from the Burgman, to balance the bike l am on the balls of my feet, whereas flat on the floor with the Burger. Seat height 795mm for the ADV, 755mm for the Burgman. The step through is higher as well. Short arse inside leg.
Haven’t discounted the bike yet, as l like the look. More research needed.

I agree about the seat height but seem to have gotten used to sitting a bit further forward down the seat slope which then allows me to flat foot it. I've been inspecting the triple clamps to see if it might be possible to lower the front a little bit (maybe 25mm) and there are lowering brackets for the rear of the Forza (which I kept) and see no reason why they wont fit the ADV if needed. If anyone is contemplating fitting those lowering brackets to either Forza or ADV be very careful to chock the front wheel or tie-wrap the front brake lever ON. Reason - as you remove the rear dampers, the whole engine moves UPWARDS which could see the bike rolling off the main stand - quite disconcerting when you were expecting the swing arm and engine to go downwards!

Hi Ian,
Lowering brackets look interesting, though there are some comments on another forum of the danger of breaking the casing due to the mounting offset. Has anyone else fitted them and had issues?

Phil, I agree about the extra stress at the mounting point on the casing but have no knowledge of failures. I had mine on the Forza for a short while - not for lowering but to angle the damper unit a bit to soften the rather harsh rear end. I took them off after about 500 miles as there was no discernible difference in ride quality - yes it was a tad lower. My preference would be to slide the fork bodies upwards in the yokes and perhaps have the damper spindles at the rear, shortened by a similar amount to preserve the geometry.

I was tempted to get those brackets but didn't trust the idea so I bought a pair of yss shocks 1" lower.
