Great day out, brilliant turnout, lovely bunch of blokes, good laugh and i can see now why the call themselves "The Ugly Bunch". Even got meself an "Ugly Bunch" sticker!!

Stuart the train ride was very good loads more there than just the wall lots of individual gardens and displays .It will be good to see it develop over the years as trees mature and by the ammount of flies has already got its own eco system going .Im sending for the Arboretum back ground music cd its not listed on itunes or Amazon at the moment for download. Our train was loads better than that had a driver commentry and everything.Also by paying the £2.50 fee I feel I have helped with the up keep of such a fine place .Coffee's is a rip off tho. .Julian

Good turnout and a delightful day! Except for the pesky insects.
It was fun watching the train speeding past and uncle Julian waving to us.
Pity he didn't keep his flourescent jacket on. It could have helped with
the insect problem!
Good to see a few younger (looking) people there. At one point I thought some of the pretty
boys from down south had turned up !
But then I thought "Don't be silly"
