It does look very nice, the attention to detail is brilliant but.... surely the point of a race inspired GP is to be a bit of a hooligans scooter and using the GTS engine just is wrong. Its just too smooth and boring, a good 2 stroke bike engine would be better. 7k is just daft too, much rather have a TMax ;)

Really not sure about that one.
I never owned a Lambretta, but always wanted one, and somehow buying a new one in the twenty first century feels a bit too much like living in the past.
And to be honest, it doesn't seem like enough bike for the money.

Hand built? Carbon fibre? Only 10 to be built? That's why it's £7 or £8 grand not £4,000.

I've always loved the second track, SL2's Way In My Brain and it was at Mersea someone was playing the song it sampled so I bunged the two together. :D

the somadis are an ace idea, yes price is way to high, but like you say they are not mass produced, however you can cut costs by sourcing your own frame and letting frank sanderson convert it to hold the gts 250 or 300 engine.
then if you also source your own engine and loom etc, it can bring the costs down, just time is then on your side. you can also opt to not have a carbon fibre body and put original metal body work such as the legshields on, not sure about the panels as i think they have to be altered.

on the scooterotica forum he has posted pics of his new white and red 300cc version and it looks the dogs. except for the indicators which i would personally change.

i dont know tbh, theres different prices for different things, but no price list, its basically ring up and negotiate how much of the build you want them to determine a price,

go to lambretta innovations website just google it and have a look, details are on there
